Hugh has more than 25 years of experience in the design of electronic solutions for global markets, including for customers in Israel, South Africa, the United States of America, Russia and the United Kingdom. His early experience in defence electronics, both from a design and an implementation perspective and a stint in the South African Defence Force focussing on a VHF direction finding and target location system, provided an excellent base for a later career in the commercial and automotive sectors.
 
Hugh has a flare for creating cost effective, yet robust and reliable products, specializing in the location and protection of high value assets.
 
Hugh has completed several hundred designs which have entered production, and in many cases volumes produced per product are in excess of 1 million units. Some of his oldest designs, dating back to the late 1990’s are still in production today, considering the rate of change in electronic technology, this bears testament to his forward thinking approach.
